Vista Neighborhood Association Newsletter March 5, 2007 Volume 1, Issue 6 Hi Everyone, Well, Spring is coming and the Association has been busy. Things in the neighborhood have been pretty quiet and I haven’t heard of many problems. There has been a bit of vandalism, some broken car windows on El Camino, but I haven’t heard of anything serious. School is back in session and the litter is more pronounced around the schools. We will be having the next general meeting of the association on Tuesday, April 3rd at the First Presbyterian Church on Amador and Nebraska at 6:30 PM. We are hoping for some significant attendance because it will be the election to the Board for the next year. There will be five positions open for this election, and we feel that’s it important for some new people to get involved. We have combined the Crime, Traffic and Code enforcement committees into one. Cathy Preovolos is the Chair and is looking for members. The Education Committee has a new chair, Greg Moore, and he is looking for members as well. The Events committee, chaired by Julie Lyons, has decided to put most of their effort into National Night Out and The Vista Neighborhood Yard Sale this year.
