Well it’s summer time again and things are looking pretty good. I have not heard of any serious problems in the neighborhood, and hope that remains true.
We are going to have some important things happen in August so we are changing the date of the general meeting. We are moving thedate from August 1, 2006 to August 8th at 6:30 pm at the First Presbyterian Church, 1350 Amador Street in the Sanctuary. We are doing this because of the El Camino Real National Night Out event scheduled on the 1st, which conflicts with our usual general meeting date. The folks in the 200 block of El Camino have sponsored this event over the last few years in the form of a block party. They are going to have a potluck BBQ, which is being organized by block captain, Susan Wentworth (see the Events section for details).
I would like all committee chairs to have a committee meeting prior to the general meeting so they can provide current reports to the general meeting on August 8th. Other than that, I hope all had a great July 4th, and are enjoying the rest of the summer.
