Attention Vista Neighbors. Due to the face that the City of Vallejo will be starting their slurry street repair project and the bid to do the work came in under-bid, the City will be able to repair/slurry more areas than previously thought. I am driving around the Vista making notes of all the holes and damaged in our roads. I would appreciate it if you notice a damaged portion on your street, please let me know the location and I will add it to the list that I will be sending to the City of Vallejo Maintenance Department. Please do your best to describe exactly where it is (i.e. in front of /near what street address.) If it happens not to be in front of a house, give me the best cross streets (please state North/South/East/ West side of Street, please also describe the damaged and your best estimate of the size of the damage in inches.) Example, there is a hole forming in the asphalt in front of 326 El Camino Real, approximately 24"x 18" it is a tripping and tire damage hazzard.
Please also let me know if any of your street lamps are "kaput." Please get the number off of the pole, and also give me the name of the street it is on. It will do no good to tell me the street the pole is located on, without the pole number.
