National Night Out
National Night Out is next Tuesday, August 4th, we are having the Block Party in the 200 Block of El Camino. Raymond Victor Band will be playing again and we have special entertainment as well. Not to many people have signed up yet and we need to know how many are coming so we know how much food to buy. We would like those who do attend to bring a side dish of some kind. Please sign up at Susan Wentworth's home the list is on the gas meter by the garage. Her address is 241 El Camino Real. Thanks, Rich

Message from the VNA President
Hi,
Well, August is rolling around and again it’s time for the annual National Night Out celebration. We will be having the block party in the 200 block of El Camino Real. The Raymond Victor band will be performing again, so be ready for BBQ, blues, and good food. Julie Lyons is again the moving force behind the party and will supply the information on where and when to sign up. The date is Tuesday, August 4th. I hope to see you there!
It has been pretty quiet in the neighborhood. I have not heard of any breakins. On the day Vallejo High had their graduation ceremony, there were approximately eight car windows broken along El Camino Real. I guess this is a new way to celebrate. I would hope that anyone who had a window broken filed a police report. Remember, it’s important to do this if we want to keep the limited police patrols that we do get.
I also need you to remember to look at the www.vistaneighbor.com website and look for updates; we have stopped sending direct email . It was too time consuming and people’s email keeps changing, so we decided this was the easiest way to keep people informed. I hope to see you at the National Night Out Block Party.
