Hi,  Recieved this yesterday. The City will be laying off police officers and demoting supervisors, so I will be assigned as the Swing Shift Patrol Sergeant on the weekend shift.   If you still need to contact me regarding ABC liquor license sign-offs, my work hours will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday 1430 hours to 0300 hours, and one Thursday a month from 1400 hours to midnight.  For those of you who have my cell phone number, that number has not changed.  All others, I can be reached either by e-mail, or by calling 648.4321.  Say my name when the automated system picks up and you should be transferred to a voicemail system (e-mail is still the best way). It has been my pleasure working with and getting to know all of you.  Together we made some impact in Vallejo one way or another.  Unfortunately, I was unable to accomplish all the goals that I set out to do, but that happens. I will not be taking on any new cases and there is no one to refer you folks to.  Hopefully, the City will start to rebuild the police department within the next 5 years and offer you all the services we once provided. Neighborhood Alert

Hi,  I recieved this this morning, it is from the people who were broken into on the 700 block of Valle Vista. I am forwarding this because it might be significant. Rich    Hello Rich,   Thank you for sharing your neighborhood news letter with us. Unfortunately my husband nor I are not sure if we can be there tomorrow to attend your meeting.   I did want to share some info with you that I've learned while having our alarm installed. A few days or so after our home was broken into, another home had an attempted burglary, but the alarm went off and the neighbor caught the woman peering into the house. The woman driving the get away car was pregnant. The pregnant burgler was mentioned on the news.   Anyway, the reason I mentioned this is because the alarm company told me that these 2 women were riding an old mercedes benz. Before my home was broken into I remember seeing two women parked on the hill of Valle Vista facing towards Tuolemne, one block away. We live on the bottom of Valle Vista, across Tuolemne. Now I am not sure they were the ones that broke into my home, but I was a bit suspicious of them just sitting there early in the morning.
