Not in the Vista, but...be aware!

Just FYI -- A resident of the Vista Neighborhood reported that their older Honda had been stolen in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday earlier this week.  It was taken not in the Vista, but from a health club parking lot near Magazine and Lincoln road.  The car was found later that day in the Kohl's parking lot near Admiral Callaghan Lane where another, newer Honda had been stolen.

In fact, several cars had been stolen that day, presumably for parts.  The thieves broke the ignition switch to hot-wire the older car and then used it to drive around to spot newer cars to steal.  The theft in the Kohl's lot was caught on film and those committing the crime were described as looking very organized and very experienced, as they moved very quickly.

So, be sure to keep an eye on your and your neighbor's Honda's, use any anti-theft devices you may have for your cars, and immediately report any suspicious activity around cars to the police.
