Youth Ag Day - An Opportunity!

Rich Martinez wrote, "...the Solano County Fair Association has asked every 3rd grader in the county to Youth Ag Day. This our 10Th annual Youth Ag Day and it just seems to be growing, last year we had over 2000 students plus chaperone's. The event is free to all students all we do ask is that if they can afford their own transportation that's great, if they can't well we pay for it. For some classes this is the only field trip they get, and since we are more urban than ever, we feel it's important that they know about agriculture. I am not asking that any one of you sponsor a whole bus I will take any amount you can send. Either send the checks to me or to the SCFA...I will make sure you get a fully tax deduct able receipt.
